About

This bunch of ‘Band-its’ will throw a party in the saloon while rustling up some absolutely classic kick-ass country with several wild cards thrown in for good measure.

Heading up this gang is CurlyAnn aka Carylann - known for her dynamic performances & fireball brand of vocals, ‘squeezebox’ & keys.
Life is a musical rodeo for this multi-talented musician & song writer.

Throw in Nick ‘Blue Eyes’ Bourke, the singing cowboy from the Deep South with his unmistakeable crowd-pleasing stage presence, killer vocals, baby-making lips, swinging hips, & several Gold Guitars in his holster.

Hailing from Nightcaps in the even Deeper South comes Brian ‘Cuddly’ Kennard, usually toting his beloved Gretsch. He claims his career began when he was a baby & his mother accidentally left him in a drawer with a ukulele for a couple of weeks.

Wielding the longest axe is Mark ‘The Maverick’ Corbett - head hunted from Taranaki where he’s famous for his vocal & instrumental skills.
An integral part of several outfits including the hugely popular Irish band ‘Shaskeen Reel’.

Rustled in at huge expense from the UK, comes ex pro drummer - Rob ‘Perky Possum’ Perks. Saw the light & converted to country for
CurlyAnn’s outfit after playing with top UK rockabilly & rock’n’roll gangs. Hangs out in the Coromandel these days.

About

There’s a sound reverberating from the thin strip of fertile land between the ranges and the sea in the

southern Horowhenua / northern Kapiti.

With hints of the sweet fruit of harvest, The Earthen Collective are spreading the love with the tools they know the best - guitars, keyboards, accordion, percussion, and harmonica, shining a light on the conversations and relationships between
people, planet earth and beyond.

The Earthen Collective are -
Dean Murray (guitars, harmonica, didgeridoo, vocals)
Carylann Martin (keys, accordion, baritone ukulele, vocals)
Steve Poulton (guitars, percussion, vocals)

Four humans with an interwoven past, drawn together by the magic of making new music. There’s never any better time than right now to shine some light on the shade.
